How to change your Synology password (DSM 6)

- Open a web browser and navigate to your Synology NAS’ URL (e.g. nas.example.com, mycompany.synology.me, etc.)
- Login to the Synology DSM web interface using your existing username and password.
- Click on the user icon at the top right of the screen:
- From the menu, click “Personal”.
- Enter your old/temporary password in the password field, then enter and confirm a new password.
- Click "OK" to save the new password.
