How to Map a Network Drive

1. Open File Explorer ("My Computer"/"This PC")

2. Windows 10: If needed, click on the "Computer" tab to expand the ribbon menu.
Windows 11:
Click the "three dots" icon on the right of the ribbon.
 

3. Click "Map Network Drive"

4. In the folder text box, type in "\\ServerName\ShareName" replacing the words "ServerName" with the name of your NAS or server and "ShareName" with the name of the shared folder you want to map.

5. Click "Finish", or, if needed, check the "Connect using different credentials" box, then click Finish and type in your NAS/server username and password. The "Connect using different credentials" option is required if the username and/or password you use to log in to your computer is different than the username and password you use for your NAS.

6. Done! The newly mapped drive should open automatically.
